🚗😂 THE MAZDA CX-5 FINALLY GOT THE MEMO — IT’S 2026 NOW. 😂🚗

This CX-5 rolled in for a fresh CJ Industries head unit, because apparently staring at the old factory setup had gone on long enough. 😅

So we ripped out the old tech and gave it a much-needed upgrade. 🔧🔥

✅ Cleaner, more modern look
✅ Better connectivity
✅ More functionality
✅ Much nicer to use every day
✅ Less “2015 called and wants its stereo back” energy 😂

The new unit sits in there beautifully and completely freshens up the interior.

Before anyone panics — it was supposed to happen. 😂

Another Mustang came through the shop for a Performance Shaker Kit Cold Air Intake, and these things just look absolutely unreal once they’re fitted.

There is, however, one slightly terrifying step…

✂️ Cut a hole in the bonnet.

Measure once? Absolutely not.
Measure about 47 times… stare at it for another 10 minutes… then finally make the cut. 😂

The end result though? Worth every bit of stress.

🔥 Aggressive muscle-car look
🔥 Functional cold air intake
🔥 Shaker sitting proudly through the bonnet
🔥 Instantly makes the Mustang look tougher

These kits seriously suit the Mustangs so well.

🔥 DOUBLE TROUBLE 🔥

Apparently one FJ LandCruiser wasn’t enough… so two of them rolled in for new headunit and reverse camera. 😂

Both FJs scored upgraded touchscreen head units plus reverse cameras, bringing a whole lot more tech into the dash without taking away from what makes an FJ an FJ.

We also colour coded the head unit surrounds to suit each vehicle — one to match the blue FJ and one to match the yellow FJ — just to finish them off properly. 👌

And when we say these units have all the bells and whistles, we mean it:

✅ Wireless & Wired Apple CarPlay
✅ Android Auto
✅ Download apps — Waze, YouTube, Facebook, games & more
✅ GPS receiver for offline maps
✅ Streaming capabilities — Netflix etc.
✅ Browse the web
✅ Bluetooth & Hotspot
✅ Standard Radio
✅ Reverse Camera

So now they can tackle the bush, find their way home, stream Netflix, check Facebook and reverse without guessing what’s behind them. 😂👌

Probably more technology than Toyota ever planned on putting in an FJ… but here we are.

John’s Mustang Dark Horse was back in the shop! 🐎🔥

This time we were upgrading it with a front camera kit supplied by John, which integrates straight into the Mustang’s existing factory head unit.

It might be labelled a “plug-and-play” kit, but that definitely doesn’t mean plug it in and you’re done. 😂 There’s still a fair bit involved in getting everything apart, routed correctly, connected and then put back together properly.

We’ve added a few photos at the end so you can see what actually goes into an install like this behind the scenes.

Another neat little upgrade for an already seriously nice bit of gear. 👌

Customer supplied and we fitted front and rear dash camera setup, installed nice and tidy with that clean look👌

No wires dangling around. No cameras stuck on like an afterthought. Just a neat setup sitting there quietly recording… waiting for someone else on the road to do something stupid 😂📹

Brand-new Isuzu MU-X straight in for a little protection before it even had a chance to get dirty 😎

Customer supplied and we fitted it. BlackVue front and rear dash camera setup, tucked away nice and neat with a clean, factory-style finish 👌

No cables hanging everywhere. No ugly install. Just cameras sitting there quietly doing their job… until someone does something stupid in front or behind you 😂📹

✅ Steering wheel controls still doing exactly what they’re supposed to
✅ And a heap of other bells and whistles you’ll probably never use… but it’s nice knowing they’re there 😂
