It was an honour to attend BBS foundation Graduation event for the young lads who’ve been apart of BBS Foundation Pilot Program every Thursday night after hours.
Congratulations 🥳 to the students.
So pleased to offer our assistance over the weeks Austen mainly with knowledge, skills and borrowed equipment.
Lew even took his Blue XB Ford for a visit for some inspiration and story telling how he started off pretty much like them.
This initiative is fantastic, a special niche and outlet, giving the opportunity in offering our youth some experience in the mechanical industry and special comradery that’s good for mental health.
As a passing gesture we gave them a gift boxed of an Engine Stand.
So nice seeing all the proud parents of the lads there in support, hearing how keen their son has been, how good and needed this was for them.
Even the City of Bunbury Mayor turned up for the occasion.
After gift giving, signing the bonnet of the Ute project they’ve been working on, speeches, sausage sizzle and certificates, we all took off in all those cool 😎 classic cars and took all the lads for Friday Phat-laps in Bunvegas.
The photographer had to get a pic in with her favourite 🤩 car colour Candy Apple 🍎 red.
Thank you to ;
BBS Foundation Chris and partner in crime for starting this up.
To Ian of Southwest DIY Garage providing a venue to rent for those who need a shed to work on their own project.
To all the other businesses and people in Bunbury assisting and helping them out in some way.
PS. BBS Foundation are now looking for a more permanent venue to work in, so if you know of somewhere suitable or available please get in contact with them.
