We are out playing at the MG car club of Qld, Qld Hillclimb Championships at Mt Cotton Hillclimb.
With Brad Sinclair .

Having a ball

Got down to a low 57sec run but the clutch is slipping badly (again)

So we are having the arvo off & going back there again tomorow to have another couple of runs.

Ill order a new heavy duty race clutch Monday & fit it so we should be ready for Noosa Hillclimb in 2x weeks time.

I nearly took the buggy home to swap motors but it's too much hard work & too much of a mad-rush muck-around,,, so we will take it easy tomorow & just swap th3 clutch next week.

That way we can keep the good late-model R1 engine in the new car & keep building it.

Another 5x short motors ready for paint.

We have already built the gearboxes for the next 15x or more power-unit rebuilds.
All complete & Wrapped in Plastic upstairs on pallets ready to fit.

Sorry for the delays people we are literally waiting on 3x machine shops to get stuff back to us.

George got a new chair/bed today

Now it's won't feel bad when I sit in my comfy recliner chair.

Now George has his own & Brad has a comfy chair when he's here working Friday nights & Saturdays too

As soon as i parked it there George just took ownership of it... so Brad's gonna have to fight George for it

We have a few rare ones here , all at the very same time.

2x turbo injected minis.

The Fast back Monaco we are building.

A really nice Clubman GT

& 2x beautiful Cooper S's.

& 2x lovely Mokes.

All at the same time.

If we could have an 850 & a deluxe & a mini K here we would almost have the whole fleet of models all in one go.

& of course our 2x race buggy & a pile of other minis stored next door & in a shed out the back of various models.

Lots n lots of minis here.

I had to pop back down to work just now... im pretty worn-out, working too damn hard/long lately.

Anyways, had a little sit down & just sat there looking at this thing.

Sooooo happy with the way it's progressing.

& yes as I say in the video, every single school-kid should have something like this to fang around in , on the weekends.

The world would be a far safer place to drive.

The experience & knowledge you gain from having the opportunity to fang around in something like this at a young age just sets you up as a far far better driver for the rest of your life.

Simple as that.!!!!

If i won the lotto big-time i would build a whole gaggle of these & go around to all the schools & get all the kids to learn how to drive from about age 7.

Get them & the whole family into car-clubs & keep em off the streets.

Anyways... its only big bags of money to do it,,, & then convince the govt & the schools & the insurance company's to back it would be a whole nutha hurdle but I would guarantee the roads would be far far far safer.

Mt Cotton Qld hillclimb champs are on next weekend & yes we will be there with rhe old buggy, theyre using the new-longer track so it'll be our first go at that.
Be there or be square i reckon.

Anyways, we are packing up & goin home & having tomorow off.
