Wasteland Down Under is a Three day event to be held in Outback Queensland in 2016. Based on the highly successful American Event held in the Californian Desert each year, it's an 18+ event to celebrate the World of the post Apocalyptic Road Warriors, clans, gangs and outlaws. Costumes are compulsory, as will be having fun! The weekend will be full of events, such as Themed Car and Bike Displays,
stunt displays, fireworks, costume, camp and vehicle theme awards, movies, vendors, merchandise, Live music, themed campsites, fire displays, Casino (not for money, fun event), Burlesque acts, bounty hunting, laser tag, Jugger and of course a fully licensed bar and spit roasts! We are in development with this event, aiming at kicking off in Winter 2016 at a Rural site (to be announced). The site will be within a 4 hour drive of Brisbane, 10-12 of Sydney. With Toilets, camp amenities, campfires, and on site security. Our vision is to begin with a kickstarter project by the end of the year. This is not a cosplay event, rather a costuming event for all those with a love of Mad Max, Fallout, Wasteland, Good Music, Movies, Bush camping and a sense of adventure and fun!
