What an absolutely awesome day out at Time Attack QLD King of QR held at Queensland Raceway

It was great to see so many different cars getting amongst the action, to see more and more drivers putting their trust in Vitour Motorsport Tyres, running the Tempesta P1 & Enzo across the event.

From serious track cars to weekend warriors, seeing the Vitour name represented across so many cars is something we’re incredibly proud of. Every event we attend, that Vitour family just keeps getting bigger!

King of QR had something for everyone, Motorkhana action, Show & Shine, cruise laps around QR and plenty of track action throughout the day.

A massive thanks to everyone who came over for a chat, supported Vitour, and especially to all the drivers out there flying the Vitour flag.

What an event. What a turnout. What a bloody great day!

Time Attack QLD KING OF QR – PODIUM FOR JON EDDY!

A cracking result for Jon Eddy, taking 3rd place in the Sports Car Class at King of QR behind the wheel of his Porsche GT4!

Jon has been part of the Vitour P1 journey right from the beginning, running the Tempesta P1 since it first landed here in Australia.

From those early days to now seeing Jon putting the P1 through its paces on a Porsche GT4 and standing on the King of QR podium that’s pretty awesome!

Jon continues to show exactly what the Vitour Tempesta P1 200TW is capable of when it’s pushed hard where it belongs on the track.

Congratulations Jon! Thanks for backing the P1 from the beginning and continuing to fly the Vitour flag.

🏁 P3 OUTRIGHT AT NAMBOUR SPRINTS!

Another cracking result for BP Paris, putting the Porsche 911 GT3 to work at the Sunshine Coast Motor Sport Club Inc. SCMSC Nambour Sprints over the weekend!

Blaise was sitting 2nd outright for most of the event, before a late charge from the competition saw him finish an impressive 3rd OUTRIGHT, with a best time of 41.70 seconds.

And yep… doing it all on the Vitour Tempesta P1 200TW.

It’s great to keep seeing the P1 delivering results across such a wide range of cars and motorsport disciplines. A Porsche GT3 being pushed hard around a tight sprint course is certainly a good test of a tyre!

🔥 THE VITOUR FALCON LETTING LOOSE AT Time Attack QLD KING OF QR! 🔥

When there’s a Motorkhana track sitting there waiting to be attacked… it would be rude not to.

The Vitour Motorsport Falcon was out at King of QR Queensland Raceway, getting sideways and putting on a show around the Motorkhana course!

Plenty of throttle, plenty of tyre smoke and a whole lot of fun.

Events like King of QR are what grassroots motorsport is all about, getting cars out of the shed, having a crack and enjoying them the way they were built to be enjoyed.

Safe to say the Falcon wasn’t there to sit quietly in the pits.

🏁 Goldrush DRIVER SPOTLIGHT - SPECIAL SHOUT OUT 🏁

This Driver Spotlight deserves a little extra recognition.

Joe Chuadee wasn't at Goldrush Hill Sprint just to compete, he spent the entire weekend flying the Vitour Motorsport flag high.

From a pit setup covered in Vitour flags and signage, to helping other competitors with advice, Joe's commitment to the brand and the motorsport community was on display all weekend.

And he wasn't just putting in laps.

Joe used the event to do some serious back-to-back testing, swapping between the Vitour Tempesta P1 and Tempesta Enzo 140TW between runs to gather real-world data and compare the two tyres on the same car, same mountain and changing conditions.

Wheels were being swapped, suspension adjustments were being made, pressure adjustments, Joe was unstoppable and straight back up the hill to see what worked and what didn’t.

That's proper commitment to testing a product.

Behind the wheel of his Renault Megane, Joe continued working away at his times and ultimately laid down his fastest run of the weekend at...

But for us, this spotlight is about more than the time on the board.

Joe's commitment to Vitour was well and truly present throughout the entire weekend.

Testing the products, gathering feedback, helping others and representing the brand as strongly as he did on the mountain, was incredible to see and be a part of.
