Queensland Towing and Recovery is a family-owned business operating across Brisbane, Moreton Bay, and the Sunshine Coast. We're not a fleet operator running numbers on a spreadsheet. We're a small team that takes genuine pride in the work, looks after our customers, and holds ourselves to a standard that most operators in this industry don't bother with.
We pay well. We expect a lot. And we're not interested in training someone who's never held a tow line.
The Role
This is an experienced operator position — towing and recovery across metropolitan and highway environments. You'll be attending breakdowns, accident scenes, and recovery jobs that require real skill, good judgment, and the ability to handle a stressed or distressed customer with the same calm authority you brought to your former role.
Day-to-day you'll be:
Attending breakdown and accident scenes across Brisbane, Moreton Bay, and the Sunshine Coast
Performing towing and recovery operations — including heavy or complex recoveries
Maintaining your vehicle and equipment to a high standard
Communicating professionally with customers, emergency services, and management
Representing this business with the pride and accountability it deserves
What We Need From You
Current Queensland Tow Truck Operator Authority — non-negotiable
MR licence minimum (HR strongly preferred)
Demonstrated towing and recovery experience — this is not a training role
A background in ADF, police, ambulance, fire, SES, or equivalent emergency services — highly regarded and actively sought
Composure under pressure, genuine customer care, and the ability to make sound decisions independently
A work ethic that doesn't need to be managed
