Watch Your Step Original Dance Music Our mission is to provide a great night out for switched on, tuned in people who want to dance to a swingin' retro beat.

Starting from humble beginnings in 2008 at Spring Hills Double Bull bar and grill, to the Step Inn Hotel and now at Black Bear Lodge in the heart of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley party precinct, Watch Your Step brings together all the elements of the 50s & 60s for a fab night of pure vintage partying. COMPETITION UPDATE

The 2018 British Film Festival winners have been drawn out of the hat. Thank you all for getting in the spirit and leaving your fave Michael Caine comments. The fortunate 5 will receive a private message shortly with instructions for collecting their prize.

If you missed out don’t despair, just get in there and buy a ticket. You won’t see these beautiful classic films on the BIG screen outside the festival any time soon. Me, I can’t wait to catch MY GENERATION … and The Knack … probably The Italian Job … oh alright, Alfie too 😉

We have 5 double passes to give away to the 2018 British Film Festival courtesy of the Palace Cinema James Street.

It’s a swinging 60’s affair with classic flicks on offer like - Alfie, Georgy Girl, The Italian Job, The Knack, To Sir with Love and the Australian premier of My Generation, a documentary about swinging sixties London narrated by Michael Caine.

To go in the running just pop a comment in this post below. The lucky winners will be drawn at 6pm Wednesday 24 October and can catch the film of their choice anytime from 25 October to 13 November.
