After performing this 5000 hr service on the 8t Sumitomo, we picked up on some panel damage, cracked front windscreen and a severely scalloped LH sprocket. All of which were reported to the owner and the repairs were quoted and booked in. We were engaged to check out this skid steer with a hydraulic leak present. When we flipped the cabin, we found the two shaft seals on the drive pumps were leaking. Being a remote job, we arranged emergency freight on parts and had them that same day and had the machine fixed by 9am the very next day. The service was completed outside of business hours to limit disruptions to their site and we picked up on a damaged emergency stop, worn cutting edge, clogged AC filter and faulty AM/FM radio. Parts were all ordered and fitted keeping this work horse swinging.

One of our valued customers invited us up to their beautiful property to look at the undercarriage on their 35t Hitachi excavator. Their complaint was "rough ride and clunk sound" coming from their LH track. As much as we would have loved to stay and admire the view, we hooked in and identified a collapsed carrier roller and snapped track tensioner recoil spring. A job from a couple months ago pulling the swivel joint out of this 5t Kubota. When we pulled the main shaft apart the seal mating surface had a groove worn past recommended tolerance. We sent the shaft off to get some spray on metal thrown at it linished up and sent back to work. One of our valued customers engaged us to perform the initial 250hour service on their brand new Kobelco SK-17SR Excavator. We found water in the fuel/water separator. We drained and cleaned all water from the fuel system and got our customer back in the dirt. This final drive motor was dropped off to us by one of our valued customers when their 4.0t Hitachi excavator lost LH drive. We stripped the component and found the 2 piece shaft splines were excessively worn. We replaced all seals, bearings and new shafts on time and under budget
