SCCQ mini golf day at Deception Bay today. Everybody had a great time missing the hole and finding all the hazards. Yours truly won the prestigous plastic trophy again which is an indication of the low standards we have.
After golf we adjourned to the " Burpo" tavern where we met up with a couple more members for lunch. Thanks to Michael for organising the day and to the members who attended and had a great day.

Rods inc. hot rod club extended an invitation to the SCCQ to join them on a run to Wyaralong dam. 4 Studebakers joined a bunch of rods for the drive through Beaudesert and onto the dam. Rods inc. had their bbq trailer there and they provided smoko and lunch. Dam looked good and weather was perfect. All in all a great day.

Friend of many in the SCCQ Matt Pettigrew braved the cold to drive this beast to Warwick. You have to feel for Svenja exposed to the elements while Matt hogs the windscreen.

Jumpers and Jazz in Warwick yesterday saw the SCCQ well represented. High winds prevented us from putting the gazebo up. Dave and Isabel had a problem with the Packard so it was absent but they still had the GT to show. This event has a great variety of things happening and really worth a look.
Thanks to everybody who attended and contributed to a great weekend.

SCCQ held a 4th of July BBQ today to celebrate our American cars at the Vintage and Veteran clubrooms. 11 Studebakers and a couple of brand X turned up along with a couple of dozen occupants. Jim arrived towing a beautiful Dorsett ski boat styled by Raymond Loewy.
Lunch was provided by the club and expertly cooked by Dave Harper.
A good time was had by all in perfect Brisbane winter weather.
