Hi everyone hope everyone got through the holidays safe ,I was trying to put this up on my computer but it of cause had other ideas, so here is the short version, first inspection for 2022 ,bike was pretty good overall for its age , problem I had was with the recent RWC done only 3 weeks prior , the seller did say the front brakes had just been fitted with new pads so yer still had not bedded in so I was to believe, at the start of the test ride I notice the brakes were feeling realy woody, this is were the lever feels hard and the brakes are not working at the caliper end, half way through the test ride I noticed the front end was trying to fold every time I tried to turn ,so when I got back I got the front end of the ground and tried to spin the front tyre ,well it had that much drag I was flat out turning it at all as the discs had already started to temp up ,how this got through a RWC realy does bother me ,a less experienced rider and a bit longer ride would have potential turned dangerous, the caliper pisons were obviously seized, the hotter the rotors would have gotten the worse it would have been and if you have ever grabbed your front brake on a wet or poor road surface whilst turning you will no what I meen ,this is what contributes to riders coming down for no apparent reason, I have made to owner aware of it so hopefully he will do the right thing and get it fixed ,the bike is still up for sale as the young guy I was inspecting it for was more after a bike he could just get on and ride ,not one that need work .

Hi hope everyone is having a great holiday ,we will be back on deck on the 4/01/22 ,next year is shaping up to be an exciting and busy year for us already , at this stage I can't say much , however all to be revealed soon 😉😁

Sometimes the smallest things can cost you when buying a second hand bike ,my customer had already had a look at the bike himself ,however still wanted me to check it for him , we are still waiting for the shop to get back to us on this as it could be one of a couple of things ,it may be the cases have a crack ,or the starter motor has been damaged causing the leak ,either way he was happy it was picked up . This is why I test ride every bike I inspect and then recheck them .

Its on days like today ,that im pretty sure some people would actually pay to do my job , i inspected and had to test ride this today ,i know hard job but someone has to do it
