Nathan brought in a converter out of his awesome turbo chargered Honda K24 powered 1968 Toyota Corona.
Gearbox is the trusty old 2 speed Powerglide. Nathan has has been having problems with not being able to achieve the right stall balance manly due to making lots of hp, but not torque. In some ways, it’s comparable to a rotary, all revs, and low in torque. The stator was a locked unit which was causing heat issues, so we fitted a mechanical diode and changed to a “small window stator” to help keep the rpm not dropping down to much going from first gear in to top, keeping the engine in a better hp range. So far he has picked up et’s across the board, and is performing much better, kero an eye out lakeside roll racing events 🤙🏽
