๐ Kia Rio Vibrations & Clutch Slipping? We Found The Real Cause.
At Combined Automotive Services, Milton, this Kia Rio came in with a clear customer concern:
โ Severe vibration through take-off
โ Clutch slipping under load
โ Poor pedal feel and inconsistent engagement
After carrying out a full driveline inspection, the fault was immediately evident once the transmission was removed.
The release fork pivot bush had completely deteriorated, leaving excessive movement in the clutch fork assembly. This causes poor release bearing alignment, inconsistent clutch operation, harsh vibration and accelerated clutch wear.
The clutch itself had also reached the end of its service life, with clear heat marks, glazing, and worn friction material visible across the pressure plate and disc.
