Annual done… now for the satisfying part. ✨

A proper post-annual clean for XUS — surface decontamination, polish and wax, and a bit of elbow grease to bring the shine back.

Not bad for a 70-year-old aeroplane. 🇦🇺✈️

A little bit of trainer history at Wangaratta 🇦🇺✈️

VH-XUS, the T-34A Mentor, parked up while a Harvard heads skyward behind her.

The Harvard/T-6 generation trained thousands of military pilots through WWII and beyond, before aircraft like the T-34 introduced the next era of primary training — lighter, tricycle gear and designed to prepare pilots for increasingly modern aircraft.

Two generations of military trainers, separated by a few years… and caught in the same frame. 👌
