TRANSCORE is a Pourable Transom BASALT Compound, which has been specially formulated using an epoxy-based material (this does not use a cheaper Polyester Resin system like some other products - Remember, Epoxies have maximum adhesion, And that's why they make planes out of Epoxy resin and not using Polyester resin).

TRANCORE is a filled pourable epoxy compound, specially formulated for filling of a transom core or cavity and is used in powerboat hulls where great compression loading is needed. Using a full Epoxy Resin system plus the impact resistance of BASALT, results in high compression and flexural strength. Its high adhesive strength provides an excellent bond between the bonded substrates.

The absence of wood in powerboat transoms is a marketing advantage when reselling. Everyone is aware that today’s transoms hold more power and weight than ever before! So when you replace your transom, it has to be strong!

PurrProp is a three step coating system for shafts, propellers & rudders (after initial preparation).
The first step is to remove old antifoul and abrade the surfaces in preparation for the PurrProp Etch Primer. The coloured primer is an epoxy based product, and is step two, designed to etch and adhere tenaciously to the bare metal surfaces being treated. The third step of the system is the PurrProp ClearCoat. This product is a clear silicone based product and has a super slippery surface that will resist plant and marine growth.
The total system can be applied by tradesmen and amateurs alike!
