IKC Round 1 2026
Brisbane Karts and JMR Engines went into battle over the weekend and delivered some excellent results.
JMR Engines achieved a podium lockout in Heat 1 for Tag Restricted Light, and secured a double podium in the final.
344 entries made for some massive fields and the club did a fantastic job of managing the day. Unfortunately some damage caused a few drivers to dnf or finish out of position.

Brisbane Karts is proud to introduce JMR Engines, our new In-House engine building division.
Massive amounts of time, effort and resources have been invested into producing a formula for reliable motors with incredible performance.
As a testament to this performance, Kalan Mullins ran a JMR Engines X30 for the first time and secured his first win at Ipswich in Round 7, in Tag 125 Restricted Light.
Our KA100 customers are piling on the hours, also smashing PB’s in testing.
For the moment, our focus is on IAME KA100’s and X30’s. We also offer Dyno run-ins, tuning, and standalone power runs to see how your motor stacks up.

Brisbane Karts is moving!
From Tuesday the 14th, our address will be 5/36 Kenworth Place, Brendale.

After spending the year expanding, it is time to move the shop to a bigger location. Our new location will be able to offer more services, better stock levels and potentially kart storage options.

We will continue to be open the remainder of this week, including Saturday morning.

We look forward to seeing you in Brendale!

We will be closed from Thursday and reopening as usual on Tuesday at 9am.
