Another one wrapped up on the dyno. Dogan's Subaru came in for a decent round of upgrades:

FMIC
CAI
Turbo upgrade
Fuel system upgrade
Tuned on E85

Really happy with how this one turned out, making just under 270kW at the wheels. It drives great, makes solid power and is ready to be enjoyed.

Final tune done and dusted.

This clean WRX STI was in at HCW Automotive for its final dyno tune before heading back out on the road.

After some fine adjustments on the dyno, we've dialled everything in to make sure it's running at its best. Our focus isn't just on making power, it's about delivering a safe, reliable tune that the owner can enjoy with confidence, whether it's on the street, at a track day, or on a weekend drive.

This is James’ STI — and honestly, this car brings back a lot of memories.

I first met James many years ago while filling up on E85. We both looked over at each other’s cars and said, “Nice car.”
That was it… the nod between two Greeks that somehow turned into a friendship for life. Nearly 10 years later, we’re still mates.

Back when we first met, we had a few runs on the street and this thing was really quick. We eventually got it up on the dyno and it was making around 240–250kw at the wheels, which back then was a seriously strong setup.

After years of driving and enjoying the car, it was finally time to freshen things up and give the STI the attention it deserved.

We pulled the motor down, sleeved the block, fitted new pistons, and went through the whole setup properly to make sure everything was spot on. Once it was all back together, we tuned it on the dyno — and the result was 292kw at the wheels.

The difference was unreal. Super responsive, seriously fast, and still an absolute pleasure to drive.

Seeing James’ reaction after the tune made all the hard work worth it. Cars like this are more than just builds — they carry memories, friendships, and years of history with them.

This one’s special.

This Holden Commodore came in wearing red and left looking completely transformed.

We carried out a full respray, transforming the car into a deep gloss black that completely changes its presence. Every panel prepped, refined, and finished to bring out that mirror-like shine and aggressive stance.

This car has been a massive part of my journey, and there’s a lot more behind it than just the times it ran.

Back in the early 2000s, FWD cars weren’t really taken seriously in the drag scene. I built this to push the limits and prove what they could actually do. There was a lot of R&D that went into it — trying different setups, chasing more boost, and learning the hard way what worked and what didn’t.

It definitely wasn’t easy.
I went through more gearboxes than I’d like to admit, plenty of setbacks, and a lot of late nights just to keep it going. But that’s what it took.

On 27/10/2002, it all came together:

12.20 @ 118 mph
7.99 @ 95 mph (660ft)
Ranked #10 Fastest FWD

At the time, that was a big result for a FWD car, especially here in Australia.

Over the years the car got some attention, and the fullboost boys were right there capturing it. Those guys aren’t just media — they’re good mates, and they’ve been around the scene for years documenting builds like this when it actually mattered. It was cool having them behind it and being part of that era together.

If you Google it, there’s still bits of the car’s history floating around, which is pretty cool to see all these years later.
