We now painted the tank & guards in Mazda Soul Crystal 3 layer red, after they had cured a couple of days we rubbed them again and used our homemade Crystal solution and let it dry before dusting black over it. Then just washed off the crystals with water and cleared them to get something a little different.

This tank needed to get the old tank liner out, remove all of the old body filler and weld up the split in the front of the tank, this is why it had the tank liner in it. The guards and tank then just need a strip back to bare metal and repair and prime with much less body filler

Today we sent this beautiful hr Holden home after a 2 an half year restoration. Full credit to team here at T&K you boys done a great job it couldn’t of been done without use.

Sad day today my Ellie girl who has been a big part of the workshop from day dot is now the doorbell of the big panel shop in the sky. She has been a great mentor to our next generation (Mahlee) and was very photogenic being in alot of the photos in the workshop also greeting the customer weather they like it or not. We have had a few Shepard’s now Ellie was my most loyal never let me out of her site sometimes to her detriment getting accidentally step on but not even a whimper just move her foot and get back to guarding the workshop (sleeping).
Cheers RIP my Ellie girl going to be sadly missed by all of us at T&K

This is how we do most doors as you can see alot of the rust is hidden until you cut it open and let’s you remove and repair the rust properly

This tidy old ek had a bit of a hit in the left rear lucky it wasn’t to nasty and came out fairly easy. The biggest issues were that we had to cut the sill open to get it on the pulling rack and rust in the bottom of the 1/4 panel otherwise all good

Sorry it’s been a while will try and do it more often anyway I’ve been doing a few signs this one got the bottom of it remade and then had to rust it again!!
