Big Cab Aerodyne
Fat Cab #10

Another fantastic project wrapped up at the workshop this week.
We had the pleasure of painting this truck for a repeat customer, and we are thrilled with the results.

Our customer also wanted a couple of shout outs to firstly Michael @ Ameys Mechanical Repairs who from start to finish took control of the rebuild showing his expertise and attention to detail, and secondly Adam @ Adams Auto Electrics for his troubleshooting and quality work.

Finally a special mention to Dirk’s Lines and Scrolls and Gordon Anderson Photography @ Gordon Anderson

The truck - Fat Cab #10 was only 1 of 2 that left the factory powered with the 892 GM.
Only 28 big cabs were built.

Another big truck project is finally coming together and looking great. Can’t wait to get it back to its owner where it belongs. Stay tuned for some photos coming later this week.

After more than 22 years serving our community (since 2003), we’re making some changes to our business.

From 01 May 2026, we will be stepping away from insurance repair work, as well as windscreen replacements and general crash repairs.

With increasing pressure to work to price rather than standard, and the growing cost of technology and equipment, this area is no longer viable for a small independent workshop like ours.

Going forward, our focus will be on restoration and specialised work, where we can take the time to do things properly and maintain the standards we are proud of.

We are still operating — just on a smaller scale with the business now operating solely by Clinton.

Thank you to our community for your support over the years, and to everyone who’s been part of our team along the way.
We truly appreciate it and look forward to this next chapter.
