It’s been a whole new experience in the COVID times. We have adapted to the clean and disinfecting of cars I have had the privilege also of working on some very rare well kept cars. I will post some pictures now as I go. All of the pictures are of vehicles that have been done and gone home to the owners. So for security none of the cars are posted until they are long gone. Steve’s auto barn has also taken delivery of a vixen vapour blaster to restore items to as good as you can get. Cleaning also done for the hobbyists.

UPDATE. in this time of Covid19. As a precaution of spreading this virus I would please ask our customers to be thought full to all of us here at Steve,s Auto Barn. Stay away if in quarantine , its not a good time to get your car serviced. We would appreciate the removal of used tissues and other used items from your car. We are doing everything we can to avoid catching or spreading this horrid pandemic. I have put in place the disinfecting of all car keys, outer door handle, inner door handle, steering wheel, gear lever, hand brake, head light switch, wiper switch and anything we have to touch for you and us to try and beat Covid19. Hand wash is on the front counter for drop off of your car if needed. Thanks Steve.

Something a little rare nowadays. Triumph stag engine job. Wow how did they engineer cars in the late 60,s. Never mind we got it done.

Well it’s been a very busy time lately. Works flat out. (In need of a extra mechanic). We were looking forward to some time off over Easter to get some of my work done. We came back to work Monday to find that we had been broken into my , back shed and storage container. Pad locks cut off. Heaps of older stuff out of my back shed. They must be local boys as they did 2 trips with trailers packed full. So much that the second trailer had low tyre pressure and left marks on the roadway for a few kms. I am onto that. The other storage shed had valuable stuff in it. They helped them selves to it. Hart broken is a understatement. I am making a list of items. So hears what I know. A Nissan patrol with roof racks. Maybe a cage. Number plate was covered but the first to letters are CS ________. It has mag wheels. But the right rear has a white sunraser. Spare fitted. The police are informed. Anyone know this car let me know. Thanks Steve.

Its been a long time between posts. But this is a job i did for Glen Taylor a little while ago. A very Nice GTR 32. A very nice car . The aim was to renew the clutch , CV boots and rack boots with factory nissan boots. Keeping the car looking factory. I used the wire to do the rack boots and was able to keep it looking great. Nice car Glen. Thanks for letting me work on it.

Its been a while in doing a up date but what a beautyof a update . We have been very busy. With all sorts of motorsport. Cars, Dirt bikes and go karts all taking up Steves Auto Barn,s time. This week we had some of the Best and rearest GTRs all in the workshop At 1 time. 2 x GTR Vspec 1 a Midnight purple GTR and a Rare GTR N1 Nur. Every hoist was taken up. This is what mechanics dream of doing . Working on the Iconic Nissan GTR. Thanks Terry for the Great Pictures.
