The sun came out just in time for N.J. Ashton Marulan to take delivery of their new Western Star 48X today! 🚛☀️

A Detroit DD16 producing 600 hp, paired with an 18-speed Roadranger gearbox, sits at the heart of this impressive star.

Designed and tested for Australian conditions, the 48X has been fitted with a BTE rigid tipping body and four-axle dog trailer, ready to take on the demands of daily T&D work.

This month’s Trucksmart staff appreciation lunch had a special South African flavour. 🇿🇦

Some of our South African team members kindly treated us to a traditional braai, South Africa’s version of a BBQ. Complete with boerewors rolls, made with traditional South African sausage.

It was a great opportunity to bring the team together, share food, learn about a different tradition and celebrate our team.

A big thank you to our South African employees for sharing a little piece of home with us. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!
