When you put wheel acid on Shadow Chrome wheels, tthis can happen! I would never recommend acid wheel cleaners, only as a last resort and never on a regular basis.

The big killer, cleaning, sanding and painting four 20 spoke wheels. A coat or two of direct to metal primer, two generous coats of 2-Pack Jet Black and 'Hey Presto', a high performance Suzuki Kizashi!

It's been a while since posting last. Little repair this mor ing on an orange Toyota 86. A dented and scratched front guard and a few scratches on the bumper as well. The customer was quoted $1600 and 4 to 5 days for a panel shop repair. They had an $800 insurance excess if they elected to make an insurance claim. Instead, $330 and 2.5 hours later, hey presto , magic!

Oh, the joy! The fun of making a painted/diamond cut combination wheel look good again. Why do car companies go for this finish? A - It looks great, B - It costs a fortune to replace them! Next option is to repair them. Only problem is the masking. Remove as much of the scratches as possible from the diamond cut finish and the grey metallic painted areas. Mask and paint the diamond cut faces. Then reverse mask and paint the grey. Then clear coat and blend the damage. All in a day's work!

Don't know how many times I forget to take the before photo after finishing a challenging job. Thankfully the customer still had the before photo so I can make a post. A difficult bumper dent that I persisted with and managed to make look pretty decent. Absolutely no filler used on this damage. Nothing but heat, patience and elbow grease to achieve this result. Like and share please, would love to beat the 400 view mark.
