✨ What an awesome night at the track! ✨
Last week we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic group from Bendigo Lifestyle Village and what a great night it was! 🙌
Several lucky visitors got the unique experience of riding in the Mobile Barrier that kicks off our races, and our starter Jason took them behind the scenes, sharing his pre-race process before each event. Such a great insight!
🎉 One very lucky lady even walked away with a prize from our meat raffle, generously provided by Strath Hill Butcher congrats! 🥩👏

Thank you Bendigo Harness Racing Club for your wonderful support of two of the best, Ellen Jane Tormey and Tayla French in their efforts to go the extra mile to raise funds in support of the McGrath Cancer Nurses through the Pacing for Pink Drivers Challenge.
It was very exciting to receive a phone call from Bec Morrissey saying the Club had been running a meat raffle each week during May in support of their girls raising an amazing $1000 ($500 each). These young ladies work very hard working horses, travelling miles to race meetings with little time to spare and may I say often sleep deprived! It is heart warming to see Clubs like the Bendigo Harness Racing Club with such a great community spirit doing their bit to make a difference for others by generously supporting the McGrath Foundation Cancer Nurses and also encouraging and supporting our amazing harness racing drivers.
Thank you Bendigo Harness Racing, Ellen and Tayla for a super effort.

Only 2 trial nights remaining until we close for Project work with the last being Monday 29th June.

Run-arounds start at 6.15pm (report in 30min prior), with the first trial at 7pm.

Our weekly Meat Raffle proceeds are proudly held in the Bendigo Harness Racing Club Community Chest.

Throughout the year, these funds allow us to give back by supporting local charities and fundraisers that are close to our hearts, and to contribute to the community that continually supports us.

It is only fitting that our first donation goes to Pacing For Pink . As part of the 2026 Pacing for Pink Sponsored Drivers Challenge, participating drivers are working hard to raise vital funds for McGrath Foundation Cancer Care Nurses. These incredible nurses provide expert care and support, free of charge, to individuals and families across Australia affected by any type of cancer.

To support our local drivers, Tayla French and Ellen Tormey, we are proud to donate a total of $1,000 to Pacing for Pink — $500 to each Tayla and Ellen!
Congratulations, ladies — a massive effort from both of you. We are incredibly proud to support you!

World's Best Hoof Oil – Race Recap

I Am Harro, trained and driven by Steve Boyington, delivered a dominant performance in the World’s Best Hoof Oil Trot. With Colleen Boyington as head strapper, the team had the gelding in outstanding condition.

Making his move at the 800m mark, I Am Harro surged clear of his rivals and never looked in doubt, going on to score a confident and impressive win.

The horse is also part-owned by BHRC member Stephen, making the victory even more special for the local connections.
