More second battery work including Redarc BCDC1240. This size was fitted to also charge Caravan batteries while driving....

More second battery work including Redarc BCDC1240. This size was fitted to also charge Caravan batteries while driving. The Caravan should have its own BCDC but everyone has budget requirements and this system should be okay. Fitted large Maxi Fuseblock near second battery. Maxi fuses are best for larger current draw and constant loads as they have large fuse blades. Fitted 12 pole plug at rear for ignition controlled circuit for caravan fridge. Another Anderson plug was installed using 8 b & s twin cable to charge batteries in caravan. Sockets in the cabin were required to supply two fridges on the long trip where one is to be used as freezer and one for fridge. Anderson plug for 240 volt inverter for charging of Computers and Cameras. Hope Dave and Allie enjoy their trip to Cape York and have happy times in their new Caravan. Been busy today Toyota Prado second battery system installation. Used Redarc BCDC 1225D and Offfroad Downunder bracket. Mounted Aluminium plate for Fuseholders to supply Fridge and accessory Sockets in rear cabin, Anderson supply for charging Batteries in Caravan and Ignition controlled relay for Caravan Fridge. Redarc Towpro for Electric Brakes and new Redarc switch panel. 12 pole base for Caravan lighting and Fridge supply. Thanks To Werner and happy travels

Bit of news about our Mascot Bo Turns out he doesn’t like anyone working on 4x4, cars , welding , grinding , any power tools and me. He’s been a bit off last month during the turbo upgrade so is now on drugs.
