CQDRA Round 2 at Benaraby Dragway run and done! Thought we would take the big ol XY for it's 1st real attempt at the 1320 to see what she can do! A change of set-up from the 6.50 classes we have been running was required. With that done, we turned up the 2 step and back down again haha. Best time was 10.1 but we came away runner up against some very good racers and most importantly, the best wheelstand EVER!!

Thanks to Nathan for his pep talks & guidance, I can also cut a decent light now with a .059 to .020 all day😂

Now we have some changes to make to get car where it should be ET wise.

This weekend we competed in the DropBear Motorsports Mackay Dropbear Shootout at Palmyra Drag Racing Club Inc with amazing results!! The XY still running everything to run a consistent 6.50 did exactly that..... The Warflow Cylinder Heads engine never missed a beat all day even hot lapping between rounds. We made 3 out of 3 finals taking away 1 win, 1 2nd and 1 1st Loser haha. They were a little worried at one point that the 'King Dropbear' crown needed to be changed to 'Queen' 🤣.

It was an awesome weekend with amazing people. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back.

Better late than never.....

Goldrush 660 at CQDRA - Benaraby Dragway was a blast 😜! Both cars on track with Neil coming runner up on the 6.50 class. The event format returned to the track for the 1st time in over 25 years and was amazing!

Thanks to everyone that travelled to support me and congratulations to all the winners. This event is a must if you haven't seen it before. Heaps of fun, laughs and awesome racing.

Shout out to Greg Trapnell & the Trapnell Racing team for not only coming all the way up but putting on a show for the crowd. Scooter March definitely showed Benaraby who Frankie is and I'm sure they would love to see you all again. Thank you to Miss Lara Wilde for the amazing commentary and showing off your 10 sec caddy!! Spent this weekend competing at an event we never thought we would do.... Addictive Events Road Trip Drag Challenge at Warwick Dragway. What an amazing event!! We came along for the experience and took home the win!! Number 1 all 3 days with a 6.503, 6.5002 and a 6.53. The XY handled every part well.

Massive thanks to Mick and Jane for having us, the Addictive Events crew, Matty Junga Loy and the Warwick Dragway team for a seamless event.

Huge shoutout to Neil Ward from Warflow Cylinder Heads and Warflow Performance, without the killer combo, we wouldn't kick the goals we do.

Massive Sponsor Appreciation Post

With the GROWL RACING Performance Pulse Expo in Brissy approaching, Zac Mackenzie from In Line Signs reached out and asked if he could come and clean the cars for me and change up the stickers and here are the results!!!

With help from mum Kym, Zac went to work on the cars. Thanks to Autotriz for the products. They have never looked so good 😍😍

Raceworks also came to the party helping to transform the XY with a pair of race seats, seat rails, harness and steering wheel.

Steve (the panel be**er), repaired the damaged rear quarter and some other paint work, Stitch from Stitch Me Up made a cover to tidy up the inside and Warflow Performance popped on the new Weld Racing shoes!

It was a massive week but both cars made it and looked absolutely amazing!! I couldn't do any of what I do without the network or sponsors!!! You guys all rock!!

Kenda Tires 660 Drag Radial Series Round 1 run and done!! Car was just a little too fast even trying to slow it down! Learning curve for the driver who needs to sharpen her skills 🤦‍♀️ but we were top qualifier.

Shout out to the Green Army and track staff at Willowbank Raceway Drag Racing for always making it pleasant, seamless racing. Thanks to Justin and the Kenda team for a mad event. And most importantly, thanks to the world's best crew!!! Awesome to hangout with Macca Mckinnon and help him get the car where it needs to be and of course, the track legend Damien Morris for all your help and advice. Huge congratulations to Jessie Lindner for the win!!

Better late than never 🤣......

The last round of racing in Super Comp at CQDRA - Benaraby Dragway saw for some very tight racing and tough competition but we came away with the win!! (Just kidding - I was the only one in the class 🤣🤣)

Commodore was not running as good as normal but had put it down to the heat and poor weather for racing. Turns out (I may have ignored a few signs), the head gasket was leaving the chat. So back to the shop to pull it apart and replace the head gasket. Downside of working in the shop now is I have to fix it myself hahaha. Quick check over and good to go. Funny having a look at the 'old technology' still doing its job 💪

All back together and ready to take on what 2026 has on board for us!!

Kerri Helen’s Holden VK Commodore “POV308”

There’s nothing “POV” about this VK — it’s all class and attitude. Kerri Helen brought her family-owned Pov Motorsports Holden VK out to join us for the Oz Wheels Invitational at Frydays #18, run by the legends at Hi-Octane Motorsports & Photography .

She took me for a few laps around Queensland Raceway, then backed it up with some roll racing action — and let’s just say, this chick can bloody drive. The Warflow Performance built 308 (featuring Warflow Cylinder Heads) was on song all day, screaming down the straight and making it clear why this car’s now part of the naturally aspirated 9-second street car club.

Jumping in beside her, stepping over the roll cage, I had that split-second thought — “what have I strapped into here?” Turns out, exactly the right seat. Kerri’s passion for motorsport runs deep, and she’s got the skills to match.

As Kerri puts it herself, “I just hope I can inspire other chicks to have a crack.” And with this VK, she’s doing exactly that.
