🏁🟠 John Day WA Title 🟠🏁

John Day WA Title weekend wrapped up and we came away really happy with the direction we’re heading. We qualified 9th overall, which put us in a good spot to build from early in the night. In Heat 1 we ran 5th, and in Heat 2 we ran 8th.

Rolling off 15th for the 35 lap final, the car felt the best it had all night. We were able to settle into a rhythm, pick off a few cars, and stay out of trouble to bring it home 12th. Not the biggest result on paper, but definitely one of our strongest overall nights this season with how the car felt and how the team executed.

Couldn’t be prouder of my crew, they worked nonstop and every change they made pushed us in the right direction.

We’ve got a bit of a break now as we won’t be contesting Albany, but you’ll still be able to catch the car on display at City Discount Tyres Cannington during the break. After that, we’ll be back on track and aiming to come back even better.

Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series

Kicked off the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series at Powerpalooza! Qualified 5th in our group, just missing the top-4 invert. Started 5th in the heat and finished 7th after a few mistakes and setup struggles. Ran 5th in the Mid Pack Madness, still chasing comfort in the car.

Started the feature out of 17th and got caught up in an early incident. The crew had a quick look over the car in the work area to make sure we hadn’t sustained to much damage, we got back out to climb up to 13th before tagging the wall on a restart. Thought something broke in the rear end, so we pulled in to save the car.

Not the night we were hoping for, but we learned a lot and we’ll come back stronger. Big thanks to my crew for their hard work and to all our amazing sponsors for the support!
