The Dowel Museum Opening to the public soon.

The Dowel Museum showcases a unique collection of some of the rarest cars and motoring collectables in Australia, preserving and celebrating automotive history.

We haven’t posted in a while as things are slowly progressing in opening to the public. However, it has given us the opportunity to invite car groups to the museum to see the collection. The response has been overwhelming to us and we are so glad to be able to share this unique display with others. This time has also given us the chance to take some of this cars on a run, clearing out the cobwebs and keeping the ones that start an opportunity to be seen. Any queries can be directed to [email protected]

We are extremely disappointed to advise you all that we must push back the opening date for the museum due to circumstances outside of our control. We will hopefully advise a new date early in 2026. Its been a very long and frustrating journey but as Terry has always said persistence beats resistance. Regards Justin

A special day today with Dad, myself and my son Corey moving the first cars into the new museum. Corey was a little surprised at how these cars drove and the size of the steering wheels compared to modern cars.

The first coat has gone down and it’s looking amazing.
