📣Team Update - Carly & Shai

We are really pleased to announce that Carly and Shai have officially stepped into Team Leader support roles within our field crews.

Over time, both Carly and Shai have consistently demonstrated strong leadership qualities through the way they support others, communicate with crews, led by example, and approach their work each day. Their willingness to assist newer workers, support team members, and maintain a positive and professional attitude on-site has not gone unnoticed.

In addition to their existing Traffic Controller / TMI responsibilities, Carly and Shai will now provide additional on-site leadership, mentoring, and support across our jobsites - particularly for newer Traffic Controllers and workers progressing into TMI responsibilities.

Where rostered on-site Carly and Shai will continue to carry out their Traffic Controller / TMI responsibilities whilst also taking the lead role for the jobsite and crew they are assigned to. This includes supporting workers, maintaining communication, reinforcing safe work practices, and assisting with the overall coordination and consistency of site operations.

We are excited to see both Carly and Shai continue to grow within the business, and we know they will be a great support to our teams out in the field.

Another milestone ticked off the list — 500 followers 🎉🔥

What started as a small team driven by a passion for design, construction, and road safety has grown into something much bigger than we ever set out to build. A community. A network. A growing “mini army” of like-minded people who share the same drive to get things done properly and push standards forward in traffic control and design 🚧💡

In the bigger picture, we’re still a small player in a massive industry — but we don’t see that as a limitation. We see it as motivation 💪 We take on more than we should sometimes, we push boundaries, and we back ourselves to figure it out and make it happen. That’s what we enjoy most.

Everything we do is built on teamwork, and that’s not changing anytime soon 🤝 No one here is just a number — whether you’re on the ground, behind the scenes, or supporting us from the outside, you’re part of the reason this works.

Meet Ayvah — our pocket rocket with a hard hat and absolutely zero fear.

She gets in, gets it done, and somehow manages to make night shift look easy (which we’re still trying to understand). She always calls in for approval before making changes out on site — because unlike the rest of us, she actually reads the rules before bending them.

Her communication is sharp, her energy is unmatched, and she tackles night work like it owes her money. A true force to be reckoned with… and mildly terrified of when she’s in “let’s just fix it” mode.

Night works aren’t just about working in the dark—they’re about keeping traffic moving, reducing daytime disruption, and improving safety for everyone on the road. While most people are heading home or winding down, our crews are out there carefully managing layouts, installing signage, and making sure every detail is spot on.

Fun fact: night works are often planned in tighter time windows than daytime projects, which means precision, coordination, and teamwork matter even more under floodlights than sunshine 🌉✨
