Ruel Rigging offer a variety of traditional and modern rigging services, from standing and running rigging on yachts to rope work and splicing. Ruel Rigging has been a trusted name in yacht rigging for over three decades. Founded in 1995 on Scotland Island in Sydney’s stunning Northern Beaches, the business began with a single workshop and a bold first project: the complete re-rigging of the 1902
tall ship Solway Lass—hand spliced and executed entirely in situ at Darling Harbour. As demand quickly grew, the team relocated to Bayview Marina in 1997, where operations continue today. In 2006, Ruel Rigging began commissioning new Hanse yachts and has since completed the commissioning of over 300 rigs in new yachts. Now operated by a skilled team of experienced riggers and sailors, Ruel Rigging carries forward a legacy of excellence and attention to detail that has earned the trust of both the racing and cruising communities across Australia. From cruisers preparing to head north, to weekend sailors wanting a safe, well-maintained vessel for club racing or family outings, we support boat owners at every level with the same dedication to quality and service. Whether you're racing offshore or preparing for coastal cruising, Ruel Rigging remains committed to delivering superior craftsmanship and personalised care
