Big milestone on the SL job! We're officially out of the metal shaping phase for all four rear ends and have begun the assembly phase.

Mixed emotions, honestly. I'm excited to get into the next phase, but it feels strange stepping away from the power hammer after spending so much time forming these panels.

Anyway, here's a quick mock up before I start cutting, welding, throwing edges, and finishing.

Brian’s XY GT is officially prepped and ready for paint over at Atomic Automotive Atomic Automotive. Since it's reached that milestone, I’m going to spend the next few days walking through the metalwork we tackled on this shell.

​To start off, here’s a look at the roof. The original was completely butchered for an old sunroof install, so we had to cut it loose. These photos show the full removal of the old skin, the repair work on the donor roof, and the final fitment to get the roofline right again.

​Stay tuned as i share more over the coming days.

​We are currently locking in major restoration work for 2027. If you've got a build coming up, get in touch with the shop to secure a spot.

Just another day in the shop. Here we are fabricating components for a custom splitter panel on the '56 F100. There is a massive amount of custom metalwork going into this truck, and I’m looking forward to sharing the full build with you soon.
