One Year On: Dragos Autos Reflects, Rebuilds and Looks Ahead
Today marks one year since the devastating fire that destroyed the Dragos Autos workshop in Bayswater - a moment that tested not only our business, but the resilience of everyone connected to it.

Over the past 12 months, we have experienced firsthand the strength of our community.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our customers, suppliers, friends, and the wider community who reached out, offered support, and stood by us during one of the most challenging periods in our journey. Your encouragement and loyalty have played a significant role in helping us move forward.

A special acknowledgment must also go to our incredible team. Their commitment, patience, and belief in the future of Dragos Autos - even in the face of uncertainty - have been nothing short of remarkable. It is because of them that we have been able to continue operating and serving our customers.

To our customers who have returned and continued to trust us with their vehicles - thank you. Your support has been both humbling and motivating.

While we have made meaningful progress, the road to full recovery is not yet complete.

We are currently still awaiting final approvals from the City of Bayswater to commence construction of our new workshop. The sign on our building still says Bayswater Motor Company as we're waiting for the new workshop before we repaint. In the meantime, our operations remain limited, and we are continuing to trade at approximately 50% capacity.

Despite these challenges, we remain optimistic and focused on rebuilding stronger than before. Our commitment to quality service, transparency, and reliability remains unchanged.

This past year has reinforced what matters most - people, relationships, and resilience.

We look forward to welcoming our customers into a new and improved facility in the near future and continuing to serve the community for many years to come.

Buddy has settled into his new home and is looking forward to seeing you.

2 of my Guys had completely deviated toolbox’s from the fire last year. Finally everything came through in the end. Some happy Mechanics, make work easier. Making slow steady progress around here.

First week back
Our little 3 work bay system is already overloaded lol
Really looking forward to the new 325 square meter workshop going up this year. We are takin on jobs Guys. January is filling up fast.
Currently working on Injector replacement, suspension installation, engine oil cooler replacement, clutch job, no starts, super select issues and more.

Happy New Year to all!

Oh boy what a year 2025 was for us!

We went through a fire. Walked through a flood at our new premises. Had a huge gust of wind blow a window in. None the less we survived it all.
