We are currently seeking a qualified experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic or 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice to join our professional and friendly team!

About Us
KJA Automotive is located in Bayswater Victoria, servicing all surrounding suburbs as well as Belgrave, Selby and the hills area. We are a family run business with over 28 years experience in the
automotive repair industry with a strong focus on customer service and high-quality repairs. Our workshop uses the latest tools and equipment to ensure that all our repairs maintain a high standard.
You will be joining a team of 2 highly experienced mechanics in a busy workshop. We are all about having a work/life balance.

About You…

Our successful applicant will require the following attributes:

* Hold a Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade Qualification or working towards one.
* Competent work skills and able to produce quality workmanship
* Reliable, punctual and honest.
* Good communication skills and able to be a team player but also able to work independently.
* Good diagnostic and scan tool experience
* Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident
* Strong work ethic
* Good Initiative
* Good problem-solving skills
* Current Driver's licence (manual) and hold a good driving record.

What we offer:
* Monday to Friday (no weekends)
* 38 hour week plus overtime.
* 8:00am- 5:00pm Monday- Friday
* Closed all public holidays
* 3-week closure over Christmas Period (taken as annual leave)
* Attractive Salary for the right applicant.
