Another brand new Ford Ranger ready to explore this great country towing a caravan.
We installed some heavy duty cable and an Anderson plug to run the caravan fridge and battery charging. Installed the caravan reverse camera system and also an Anderson plug in the tub for charging another battery.

BYD - Shark, an awesome vehicle, this vehicle allows for connection of 12v devices on the low voltage system and when done correctly automatically converts from the high voltage storage batteries down to low voltage to run your camping accessories whislt stationary. Saving the custmer from having to have a seperate dual battery system.

This vehicle had to have a baseboard custom cut and fitted to give a flat surface for drawers and the fridge, with a stack of extra hardware to make the drawers as rigid as possible, all completed by us.

Towing upgrade for this new Ford Ranger Wildtrack, including integration to the factory stereo for the caravan reverse camera, removing the need for an additional screen. Other work included upgrading the wiring to 12pin socket and installing an Anderson plug. I always use the highest quality components to ensure longevity.

I often get asked why do you need to upgrade the wiring to a vehicles factory 12 pin trailer socket. The first photo is what is existing from factory and the following is what I replace it with, often the wiring from factory doesn’t have ignition power and needs to be reconfigured to suit caravans. 3 way caravan fridges consume large currents and without proper wiring they either don’t work or melt plugs.

Towing electrical upgrade for this new Toyota Prado, installed Redarc Tow Pro, Heavy Duty Anderson Plug with ign isolation and Caravan Reverse Camera Kit.
Anderson plug was originally installed at a dealer, without any ignition issolation, meaning the customers caravan could drain the vehicle battery flat overnight. The cable size used was also inadequate. The last two photos is their work, just not the same quality. What would you prefer?
