More real world test results on the new Brian Tooley Racing Canted Valve cylinder heads. Thanks to Mitch @ WA Performance for working with us on this project.

It’s been a hectic few weeks but having seen these pop up it peaked our interest

BTR LS3 Canted valve cylinder heads hit the Australian market, so we purchased two sets from George at Racemax Direct

Our plan was to fit these to a car already cammed to see the advantages beyond the L98 heads,
The donor car is a VZ Senator owned by WA Perf which was already fitted with a BTR stage 3 cam and L98 heads, we started with a before dyno run for a baseline. Oil and filter change followed by new spark plugs

After fitting that BTR heads with push rods and spark plugs to suit, it was back on to the dyno to confirm the gains.
The final runs produced 447 rwhp for a total gain of 33 rwhp.

If you're looking for every last available hp out of your combo, don't disregard these heads.

Since the release of the Brian Tooley Racing Canted Valve heads we’ve been waiting for real world back to back results. We supplied heads and rockers to Geoff from C&R and Sandro from PRE Automotives to try on their dyno mule LS. The results speak for themselves.

Former Top Fuel racer Darren Morgan (Mildura) has resurrected the old Mal Harrington Camaro with a N/A big block chev. We supplied a new APD 4500 carb and fuel system for it. Its working real well by the looks of it !!!
