The little things are what stay with you.

A cuppa with a view, the chairs out, the quiet after you've parked up for the night. That's the part people remember, long after the trip's over.

What's a small moment from the road that's stayed with you?

This one's Lesley's, parked up at Rocky Creek with a view most people would drive hours for. Just the van, the rocks, and the water working its way down the valley.

It's one of our favourite things about this job, seeing where people take them. The same vans, and wildly different views out the window.

So tell us. Where's your Horizon parked right now? Drop a photo below if you have one.

Thanks for this one, Lesley.

Good day, Horizon family. 👋

Another one from Mr Horizon's Tips & Hints. This one follows straight on from the last, where Clayton let the tyres down. Now he's out on the corrugations at Karijini, seeing how it rides.

The difference is real. At full pressure it was all vibration and rattle. Aired down to 32 psi, he's sitting comfortably at 88, with a bag of snow peas on the dash that hasn't budged.

His point about motorhomes over towing is a good one too. You're inside the van, so you feel and hear everything as it happens. You always know exactly how it's travelling.

About twenty minutes to air all six tyres down. Twenty minutes for a ride that's smoother, quieter, and a lot more enjoyable.

It's a question we get asked more and more: can you build it without gas?

Yes, we can. The cooktop becomes induction, and the heating and hot water run off a Truma Combi system using diesel from the tank you're already carrying. No bottles to refill, swap or store.

It suits people who'd simply rather not have gas on board, or who already cook on induction at home.

It's worth knowing the trade-off. Gas is a handy redundancy when the sun hasn't shone for a few days. Going all-electric means solar, a bigger battery and an inverter to carry the load.

Before we build anything, we talk through how you actually travel, and work out what suits you.

If you've been wondering about going gas free, ask us below.

Thirty years of building motorhomes means thirty years of people taking them somewhere.

This one is a Banksia at Cape Range National Park, out on the WA coast, shared by one of our owners a few years back. The kind of spot that stays with you.

To mark our 30th, we're collecting thirty stories from the people who know our vans best. Where you went, what you remember, the trip that stayed with you.

A few have already landed in our inbox and over in the Horizon Family group, and we've loved reading them.

If you've travelled in a Horizon, we'd love to hear yours. Just leave it in the comments, or send us a message. A photo is welcome too, if you have one you love.

Where did it take you? No need for anything polished, just the story as you'd tell it.

This is what it's all for.

A quiet spot, the awning out, lunch on, and nowhere in particular to be. The kind of afternoon that makes all the planning worth it.

Wherever you are this week, we'd love to know. Where's your Horizon parked right now?
