Long-time motorsport identity and racer Sven Burchartz alongside son Seth will contest the Combined Sedans support category at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, and the pair will don a special livery that is close to his and Sonic Motor Racing Services' hearts.

Sven Burchartz enjoyed a successful stint at Sonic from 2005-2010 highlighted by title victory in the inaugural Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge.

Seth will race a similar 996 GT3 Cup Car that his father took to title success in 2008, featuring the same livery. In fact, the Porsche was previously Peter Fitzgerald’s 2002 Nations Cup mount.

Sven will race a higher specification 2009 GT3 Cup S also adorning a livery pointing to his past Sonic relationship.
