JULY KARTING ACTION – A MONTH OF HIGH-SPEED THRILLS ACROSS CENTRAL QUEENSLAND

Speed enthusiasts, buckle up—July is shaping up to be an action-packed month of karting, with premier events and club racing taking place every weekend across the region. From national-level competition through to local club battles, there’s something for everyone to enjoy both on and off the track.

The month kicks off with Round 3 of the Australian Kart Championship, running from 3–5 July, bringing some of the country’s best kart racers into fierce competition. This national series continues to set the benchmark for speed, skill, and spectacle.

The momentum continues with the Queensland State Cup from 10–12 July, where drivers from across the state will battle for provincial honours in one of Queensland’s most competitive karting events.

Local pride takes centre stage on 18 July, with Round 5 of the Rockhampton Kart Club Championship. Expect tight racing and strong club rivalry as drivers fight for valuable championship points on home turf.
The action doesn’t stop there. On Sunday 19 July, the Gladstone Kart Club continues the weekend racing excitement with a full day of competition, adding even more on-track intensity for teams and supporters alike.

To round out the month, the Emerald Kart Club hosts its much-anticipated “July Justice” event on 25 July, capping off a huge four-week stretch of grassroots karting action across the region.
For fans unable to attend trackside, all Australian Kart Championship coverage will be available via the 7plus, ensuring you don’t miss a moment of the national-level racing.

From elite championship battles to passionate club racing, July delivers a full calendar of speed, competition, and community spirit across Queensland karting.

🏁 Race Day Wrap-Up – Fitzroy Park Raceway 🏁

What a fantastic day of racing at Fitzroy Park Raceway!

Firstly, a big thank you to all 36 competitors, officials, volunteers, families, and supporters who helped make the meeting such a success. The weather gods certainly smiled on us, holding the rain at bay and allowing a full day of uninterrupted racing.

🏎️💨 The competition was fierce from the first race through to the finals, with fast lap times, close battles, and plenty of action-packed racing across all classes.

Drivers kept spectators entertained with hard-fought racing and some thrilling overtakes throughout the day.

A huge congratulations to all our class winners and podium finishers, and well done to every competitor who took to the track. The standard of racing continues to impress, and it's great to see both new and experienced drivers putting on such a strong show.

Once again we thank Poppies Cafe for supporting the club with prizes for our junior competitors, and Pearce Garage for coming onboard and providing prizes for the senior competitors

Thank you once again to everyone who attended and contributed to another successful race meeting at Fitzroy Park Raceway. We look forward to doing it all again at our next event 18 July
