🏆 📢 EAST COAST BOATS TAKES OUT THE VICTORIAN BUSINESS AWARD!

We're incredibly proud to announce that East Coast Boats won the Regional Development Victoria Business Achievement Award at the 2026 7NEWS Victorian Community Achievement Awards on Saturday Night!

This award recognises businesses making a significant contribution to regional Victoria through business growth, innovation, employment and economic development.

For a small, family-owned boatbuilding business based in Bairnsdale, we believe this is a huge achievement, (especially when some of businesses we were up against had 400+ employees and 100+years of trading!)

We're proud that our growth has allowed us to create opportunities for young people to learn a specialised trade right here in East Gippsland.

Of course, none of this would be possible without our family, dedicated team, our suppliers who continue to support our growth, and the customers who put their trust in us & become friends along the way.

We're passionate about the future of Australian manufacturing and proving that regional businesses can compete, innovate and succeed on a national level.

A sincere thank you to 7NEWS, Regional Development Victoria, Pullman East and the organisers of the Victorian Community Achievement Awards for this recognition.

We're excited about what the future holds for East Coast Boats

Earlier this year we nominated our 1st yr apprentice Jordan for the Boat Building Apprentice of the year.

🏅Yesterday he was presented as a FINALIST at the Melbourne Boat Show and we were so proud to be front & centre to watch him receive his award.

Jordan is a dedicated and driven young man and always wants to learn. To be named a finalist in your first year of your apprenticeship is huge and its clear that your future is going to be bright ☀️ Believe us when we say your efforts don't go unnoticed.

Enjoy Your Moment Jordan! Jordan Tedesco 👏

❓️❓️

What does an Aged Care Provider, a Food Manufacturer, a Paediatric Education Business, a Bakery and a Boat Builder all have in common?

Yeah, we're not sure either 🤣

But apparently we're all finalists in the development Victoria Business Achievement Award which is part of the 7NEWS VIC Community Achievement Awards.

It's a pretty tough time to be a Victorian Business at the moment, so well done to all the other finalists and anyone who's running a Victorian Business and still managing to make a dollar 🪙 💪🇦🇺
