Heading off-grid for the first time? Here's where to start.

1️⃣ Start small. A weekend close to home beats a fortnight you're not ready for.
2️⃣ Get your power sorted. Fridge, lights, charging. Sort it once, enjoy it forever.
3️⃣ Pack less than you think. You'll use half of it, and the other half just gets in the way.
4️⃣ Talk to people who've done it. Forums, mates, the bloke at the campsite next door. Best info you'll get.
