Fortunately for us we’ve had over 40mm of rain overnight & today but unfortunately for guests wanting to stay with us cause we’ll have to shut the gate for a couple of days in order to let the road in dry up. The suns out now so should only be closed for a day or so. We will make contact with those that have booked & anyone wanting to come in please call first for an update. On the other hand the ducks are having the time of their lives! 🤣🫶🏻🦆

Introducing our newest baby to Athelle, Shirley May. Named after my late nanna, one of my most favorite people in my life who I love & miss so much! She loved all my animals, well all animals in general & would ask after them all the time. She’d be honored to have one of my babies named after her. We can’t wait for you all to meet her. 🫶🏻🐄🥰

Our baby has arrived at Athelle. How lucky are we to welcome this gorgeous little girl onto our farm. Both her mum, Snowhite & dad, Richard were some of the first lot of calves born at Athelle & hand raised by Danyelle ‘Giddy Up’ Haigh. Now they’ve had their own little baby for us all to love. Now we need your help… what shall we call her??? Send us your ideas. 🫶🏻🐄

Did you know when I was growing up I only ever had a cat who I absolutely adored but always had a huge love for more animals. Never in my wildest dreams & wishes did I ever think I’d have the amount of beautiful babies I’m lucky to have today. Who majority I’ve hand raised from babies! Look at this little ole city gurl raising wild animals in the middle of Australia’s desert. This gorgeous girl, Snowwhite is about to pop any minute with her first calf. You might be lucky to meet the new baby if you are visiting us soon! 🤞🏻My current list of pets -

The other week we were lucky to have a bunch of cool humans fly in to stay with us at Athelle. Even more lucky that Stephanie from took the kids & I up for a fly. Was so exhilarating I’m even more motivated now to pull my finger out & get my license! How cool is her paint job too. Such fun! ✈️💗
