BTS Tuned Steinbauer Power module install (Tesla P90D, 1 of 1 in Aus).
The team at BTS Tuned in Albion Victoria installed the Steinbauer Power Module on this beautiful Tesla Model S P90D.
BTS previously installed a custom brake upgrade as well as lowering links.
The Steinbauer Power Module is the first of its kind in Australia and 1 of a handful in the world. Manufactured in Austria, this module increases the P90D's power from 456 hp (340 kW) to 523 hp (390 kW) and from 713.2 lb-ft (967 Nm) to 855.6 lb-ft (1,160 Nm), essentially unlocking “ludicrous mode”.
Back to back street testing produced a 12% faster 0-100kmh/hr verified time using Dragy GPS logging, dropping from 3.83s to 3.39 seconds, road with a 1.71% slope, the 0-100 was also completed in just 52.70 Metres! Acceleration runs are now much more consistent, while regeneration is improved by up to 30%. In addition, owner can now remotely pre-warm the battery.
With this being the first installation of the Steinbauer Power Module in Australia, we are looking forward to fitting it to more Electric Vehicles including Model 3, Model S and Model X.
