On Saturday 7 November, the Albany coastline from Emu Point to Binalup/Middleton Beach will glow with the warmth of thousands of handmade lanterns. Join us and take part in this monumental, participatory light artwork.

Registration is important so you receive key event information, including how to get to the event and what to know before taking part. Registered participants will also be sent an exclusive link to where you can download the Carrying the Fire app.

The app syncs your phone's torch to a live event soundscape, so the whole beach lights up as one.
