YACHT TECHNICIAN
We are searching for a motivated, skilled individual to join our Vessel Technician Team. The Vessel Technician is responsible for fleet maintenance, briefing, debriefing, movements, preparation, guest liaison and ensuring vessels are in near new condition.
Successful Applicant will preferably have:
- 2 years + in a similar role
- Coxswains Certificate
- Whitsunday Bareboat Accreditation Certificate - Briefers Ticket or commitment to obtain after a trial period
- AYF inshore Skippers Certificate or equivalent (advantage)
- Prepared to work weekends
- Sound knowledge of yacht mechanics and local knowledge

WE ARE HIRING
SALES & RESERVATIONS CONSULTANT - Charter Yachts Australia - Whitsundays are searching for a motivated, skilled individual to join our busy Sales and Reservations team. This position will be based on Casual arrangements on a flexible roster offering minimum 24 hours per week including weekend cover work and MUST be able to cover sick, personal and annual leave. Local resident a must.
Successful applicant must have:
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Local and boat knowledge desirable
• Previous sales and service experience with a proven sales record
• Ability to deliver quality Client Services with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in typing and competence in Microsoft Basics and Windows 10 applications
• MYOB and Reservations systems experience (desirable)
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow detailed policies and procedures.
• Strong planning and organizational capabilities and initiative
• An aptitude to being a team player with the ability to work unsupervised
