Hi Crew just a heads up Kustom karts will be closing 4:00 pm Tuesday arvo the 29/9 and reopening again on 6/10 in readiness for the Aussie titles . Attention guys & girls KRT karts Aussie titles check list .

Kart prep .
Replace or check king pin bolts
Replace king pin bearings
Check & replace bottom steering shaft bearing .
Check wheel alignment .
Check floor pan rubbers
Check steering shaft for straightness
Check seat for cracks and tightness
Replace brake fluid
Shim brakes
Make sure brake pistons are returning
Check or replace rear axle bearings
Check Axle grubscrews are tight
Check sprocket carrier and axle for true
Check throttle cables
Check break cable
Check fuel line and fuel filter & replace
Check fuel tank for leaks.
Check transponders are charged
Check numbers are good condition.

Engine KT 100s & j
Have your engines and carbs check for compliance.
Refresh your carby kit
Check your sprockets & chains are in tip top condition.
Check engine mount are tight
Check you have good ignition spark
Clean and oil your filters .
Check all carby block gaskets are in good condition.
Make sure your engine starts before you leave home.

X30 engines important things to check.
Check engines for compliance.
Check carbs for compliance.
Replace reeds and associated gaskets
Check and replace carby kit .
Check & replace gear oil
Check Bendix and clean and working
Check starter motor is working
Clean clutch drum and grease bearing or bushing
Check clutch washer are in good condition.
Make sure your front sprocket is new
Make sure your battery is fully charged and in good condition.
Make sure your water pump is spinning freely and your water pump belts are in good condition.
Check your water hoses for leaks
Make sure your radiator is full & bled .
Make sure no leaks in radiator. Check for cracks on radiator strut .
Make sure radiator is clean and free from dirt& dust .

Must haves to carry in your x30 spares kit .

Spare ignition coil
Spare Reed petals
Spare carby kit
Spare starter motor
Spare Bendix
Spare front sprocket
Spare clutch .
Spare start stop Button.
These are some of the components that are bound to catch you out at a major event.

Another KRT junior momentum has left building. Thanks to the Judd family from Phase Electrical for choosing another KRT kart in readiness for our Aussie titles in Loxton . Riley will be giving the kart its first shake down run at the lucindale kart club tonight. Goodluck to Riley & Addison who will both be behind the wheel of KRT karts in Junior heavy at Loxton .
