Well that’s the Bend State Hillclimb Championships done and dusted. Awesome weekend away and despite a sh*tty Saturday with some 70kph winds and a wet track, Sunday was much better. Still not the fastest car on track but my times came down to a 66.83 for those who know what I’m on about. Turns out under 70 was pretty darn good so I’m stoked. Thanks to minus paint for their support on and off the track and richard Mullen for the tyre fit up on Tuesday and Tony for the donation towards tyres.
A BIG thanks to Hillclimb SA for another great event , thanks everyone for acknowledging the little torry and came up for a chat, loved it, green is mean.
See all you guys at the Legends in a few months. 👌

A bit of a sad day for the HQ Monaro project we’ve been on and off and on again for 8 years. The customer had to sell and the car is going to Vic. I probably won’t ever see it again or even finish it.
I want to thank Ben for being a great customer over the years, I know how hard it was for you to sell. Hard times😢

Windscreens out without breaking them and panel alignment and a paint job later down the track for him. Hopefully he can now move forward with saving not restoring this iconic car.

The new Pontiac roof needed a lot of work in itself , must have been a rough trip from america. A coat of epoxythane and nearly ready for the new rubbers and see if the t-top windows fit. 👌
