We're incredibly proud to support Lifeline Adelaide through the CMV Group Staff Foundation, with a donation to help train and support five new volunteer Crisis Supporters over the coming year. This important contribution will help ensure lifesaving support remains available to those who need it most.

Thank you to Lifeline Adelaide for the incredible impact you make every day. 💙

Each year, Lifeline Adelaide must train 100 new volunteer Crisis Supporters to continue answering life-saving calls. We can’t do this without the support of our Corporate Partners and the community.

We’re excited to announce that our friends at the CMV Group Staff Foundation have generously contributed to helping us train 5 new Crisis Supporters for the next financial year through our Crisis Supporter Sponsorship Program! This partnership makes a vital contribution to our work providing hope and support for people when they need it most.

Thank you to the CMV Group Staff Foundation and your generous employees for your continued support.

A team of volunteers from across CMV Truck & Bus and CMI Hino Melbourne recently took part in OzHarvest Melbourne's Cooking for a Cause program in Victoria. 👩‍🍳💛

Working together in the kitchen, the team prepared 72 nutritious meals for local charities, while helping to rescue 36kg of food from landfill and prevent 36kg of CO₂ emissions.

It was a rewarding hands-on experience that gave the team a greater appreciation for the important work OzHarvest does to reduce food waste and provide nourishing meals to those who need them most.

A big thank you to the OzHarvest team for welcoming us and for the incredible impact you continue to make in our communities every day. 👏

A small team of volunteers from across CMV Truck & Bus Dandenong and CMV Group recently supported Pinchapoo, a charity helping to tackle hygiene poverty. The group helped to sort, pack and prepare donated toiletries for disadvantaged women, men and children. 🧴🧼

Pinchapoo then distributes these hygiene packs to community groups, charities and organisations, reaching thousands of people in need.

A big thank you to Pinchapoo for the opportunity to be part of such an important initiative. 👏

Some of the team from CMV Truck & Bus Dandenong and Clayton recently spent time volunteering with Backpacks 4 VIC Kids, helping to pack essential backpacks for children entering emergency care. 🎒👏

Each bag was thoughtfully filled with practical items for children who are often relocated with very few belongings. As one team member shared, they “never thought they could fit so much into such a small bag,” highlighting the care behind every backpack.

The day was a great opportunity to step outside of the usual day-to-day and also connect with colleagues from other dealerships.

We are proud to support the work of Backpacks 4 VIC Kids, helping provide items that bring comfort, ease anxiety and restore dignity for children during challenging times.

A recent volunteering day saw our team from the CMV Truck & Bus Training Institute spend time at Foodbank Victoria's Brooklyn warehouse.

Across the session, the team packed more than 13,700 kilos of food, the equivalent of 33,498 meals for families in need.

It was a hands-on experience that gave the team a strong appreciation for the important work Foodbank does to help put meals on the table for those who may otherwise go without. 💜

We are proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause and organisation that has been providing vital food relief for more than 90 years.

Thank you to the Foodbank team for having us and for the impact you continue to make every day.👏

The CMV Staff Foundation was proud to recently support Aspect Treetop School in Adelaide through a donation, helping fund new STEM resources for students.

During a recent visit, we had the opportunity to tour the school and see firsthand the learning environment created by the team. It was great to see how each classroom is thoughtfully set up for hands-on learning, with students engaged and supported in a way that reflects their individual needs and interests.

Aspect Treetop School is Adelaide’s only autism-specific education program for students from Reception to Year 10, supporting around 90 students with a range of support needs. The work of their team creates a learning environment that is thoughtful, supportive and tailored to each student.

As part of our employee volunteering program, Harry and Ben from our IT team recently spent a day with The Village CO. 👏

Using their volunteer day, they chose to support an organisation that provides practical help to new mothers doing it tough, including those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or financial hardship. The Village Co delivers essential items for both mum and baby, along with programs designed to offer support, dignity and connection during early motherhood.

Through the day, Harry and Ben were able to contribute in a hands-on way and see firsthand the care that goes into supporting families at a really important time.

Thank you to The Village Co team for having us and for the meaningful work you do across our community.

National Volunteer Week took place this week, and it is a special time to reflect on the impact of volunteering and sincerely thank everyone who gives their time to support their communities.

At CMV Group, we’re grateful to support our people in getting involved through CMV Volunteering, and to recognise all who have taken the time to contribute, along with the organisations we are proud to work alongside.

This financial year, volunteering has continued to bring our teams together in support of many causes, with strong participation, generosity and community spirit across the Group.

Together, our people have:

⏰ Volunteered for 1,284 hours
🤝 Supported 21 organisations
✅ 172 employees participated

This year’s National Volunteer Week theme, ‘Your Year to Volunteer’, is a gentle reminder that every contribution counts, and an opportunity for anyone considering getting involved to take the next step and be part of something meaningful.
