No registration? No dramas! Our trade plates have been approved and are in our hot little hands as of today.

We are always looking for ways to make the process easier for our clients, with many of our trailers and vans coming without registration from a purchase, or requiring relocation from being parked up for an extended period of time, having trade plates takes the painful administration part of the move out of the picture.

Our trade plates will cover any roadworthy trailer or caravan without the need for you to organise a quarterly or yearly registration for the item prior to the move. They can also be used in place of temporary permits, therefore removing the need to delve into the minefield of different permits required per state and their differing conditions and restrictions.

We are a small, family run business specialising in the transport of caravans, boats and trailers Australia-wide. We provide a professional towing service behind a tow vehicle with up to 3.5t towing capacity and have over 20 years of experience driving a variety of different vehicles.

We are fully insured with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance, marine (goods in transit) insurance, hook liability insurance and public liability insurance policies. Our policies have been custom tailored to specifically include caravans and trailerable boats towed using a tow hitch and coupling arrangement to remove the potential for gaps in the coverage that are present with many policies on the market, and with zero previous claims against the company and myself you can rest assured that your valuable goods are in safe hands. Please ask for our Certificate of Currency for each policy upon booking if you have any concerns.

We can also offer the use of trade plates where required for the relocation of unregistered items, and our insurance policies are also set up to cover any roadworthy vehicle being towed whilst under this condition.

We are strong believers in doing things safely and ethically. We have training and certification in Basic Fatigue Management (BFM), as well as in-depth knowledge of load restraint systems, and weight distribution gained from years of both theoretical and practical experience. We use a variety of hitches, including hitches with built-in weight distribution and sway control to further increase the safety of the load at speed.

Prior to every job, and at suitable times along the route, we inspect both the towing vehicle, and the towed vehicle, for any mechanical issues. The inspections include a check of the tires, bearings and brakes of the towed vehicle. All inspections are logged using our mechanical checklist system, and all loads are photographed from multiple angles prior to pickup, and post delivery. We also check the weights of the vehicles at a local weighbridge and ensure we are within limits using our weight distribution calculator prior to departure. We are happy to provide copies of any/all of this documentation to our customers on request.

All of our deliveries are provided as door-to-door, meaning that we do not store or transfer your goods at depots along the route. This minimises the potential for handling damage and allows us to provide express delivery where it is required. We typically cover between 800km to 1,000km per day so this should give you an idea of when to expect delivery from the time of pickup.
