Tim's came back last week with another vehicle needing some repairs.
A broken hanger had allowed the exhaust to rotate on it's slip join, leaving no ground clearance and damaging the tip.
We've upgraded the hanger and tidied up the system. A new tip was also added.

Fluids in and a full shake down this afternoon.
Some simple mods combined, made this process, and result all worth it. The boys at Car parts + had everything in stock including the shorter belt for the 10psi pulley making knock off for the long weekend more rewarding.

Our side project has risen.
Once a standard ecotec, we've gone for a L67 transplant for this VS Commodore.
We have had the heads done by Lonsdale engine worx with new valve seats, gone through and cleaned the entire motor and reassembled with a few mods.
We extended and shortened various sections of wiring and fitted the coolant temp sensor to the later inlet manifold.
Fuel pump has already been upgraded, preprogrammed memcal installed and a bunch more parts are on order, but 1st turn of the key, she fired so we're on the right path.

Although we have recently focused in on building our exhausts in 409 stainless, last week we fired up the old press bender to build this factory style replacement system in the thick wall aluminised mild steel pipe.
Hot dog resonator, triflow muffler then into a chambered resonator at the rear. Much better system than the off shelf product readily available.

This really nice HR Holden was recently purchased, but the new owner was having drama's getting it in and out the driveway with the exhaust dragging over the hump.
We built a new centre section, flanging the rear, and lifting the system closer to the floor.
All built in 409 pipe, and a tri flow 316 stainless steel Lukey muffler.
