It could be that your windscreen wipers need replacing. Swapping these over every now and again helps the blades to work more effectively at pushing water from your windscreen and giving you a clearer view.

Sure it is cold and dark and we all feel like we're moving a bit slower as we edge closer to winter, but a slow start on your car could be a sign of a battery in trouble.

Time for Friday fun fact... can you beep your horn at someone if the lights have turned green and they haven't started moving? 🤔

Look we get it, you don't want to miss the lights and they are not paying attention... but actually, there is a rule against this! Technically the horn can only be beeped when alerting other road users to a possible danger. Otherwise, you risk a fine. That means the beep goodbye as you driveaway from your friend's place is out as well...

And hey, maybe a bit of judgement applies here and can still avoid a potential fine. There is a big difference between a light tap of the horn to holding your hand down. So maybe, a bit of common sense and courtesy is all that is needed 🤷‍♀️🤷

Time for a Friday fun fact... 😁🗑

Okay, have you ever been needing to park in the street on bin collection day, and wondered whether you will get a fine or get in trouble for parking in front of someone's bins?

So it is not illegal, you can park there HOWEVER it does mean that the garbage truck may have to stop, and the bins be moved manually to ensure collection, rather than using the usual arm from the truck. If everyone did this... imagine how long that garbage collection would take!

The best option is to park with at least 1m to both give the truck room to collect bins via the arm, plus reduce any potential risk of damage to your car.
