Before we even got to the pressure leak test, we found water trapped inside the edgemoulds. While a caravan is built to handle the great outdoors, holding water definitely isn’t one of its features!

These little signs can be early indicators that seals and joins need some attention. Catching them early can save a lot of headaches (and repair bills) down the track.

Regular inspections and leak checks are the best way to keep your home away from home exactly that… a home, not a houseboat! 😆

🔦 TOOL OF THE WEEK – The Pocket-Sized Legend

It’s not the biggest tool in the shed, and it certainly isn’t the most expensive… but it might just be the one we reach for the most.

No fancy buttons. No loud noises. No moving parts.

It doesn’t weld, cut, lift or fix anything… but we’d be completely lost without it (quite literally 😆).

The humble torch is probably one of the hardest-working tools in our workshop. It goes everywhere we go, under vans, behind walls, inside cupboards and into every dark little corner that likes to hide a problem.

Fresh decals have been carefully applied to bring back the manufacturer’s original look , the moment when a repair truly comes together and the van looks like it just rolled out of the factory.💪

Over time, brake shoes wear down, magnets deteriorate, springs weaken, and drums can become scored or worn. If left unchecked, braking performance can be reduced, leading to longer stopping distances and increased wear on other components.

We pulled the front off this caravan and discovered a little hidden surprise from the manufacturer… a love heart made out of silicone ❤️
