Toyota Hilux timing chains replacement 💪🏼💪🏼

Before and after pics of one of the bigger jobs this week. This Hilux came to us with timing correlation trouble codes, after some diagnostics we found that the timing chain had stretched and needed replacing.

This job required the engine to be torn down quite a lot in order to correctly complete. Including the removal of the rocker covers, intake manifold, lower sump, all drive belt accessories and front cover in order to access the timing chains.

Replaced all critical components including all tensioners, guides and gears along with the chains. Fully re-sealed to avoid future oil leaks.
